A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Sam! I’m so happy to talk birth with you! I am very passionate about every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! I am a RN, doula, and certified birth assistant. I have worked in a few different areas of medicine including OB/Gyn clinic and Mom and Baby in the hospital. In nursing school I became very interested in labor and delivery and started exploring that world a little more. I knew I wanted to have children of my own and for some reason I knew I wanted to do my deliveries unmedicated. As I experienced pregnancy and birth for myself I felt deeply called to help other women in achieving the birth they desired. So I decided to become a doula and live my passion!
I am married and have two children, a boy and a girl. My son’s birth took place in a hospital in a natural birth suite. It was beautiful. I had good support and was able to get through it ok.With my second birth, I decided to have my daughter at home and I absolutely loved my experience. Wherever and however you decide you’d like to birth I support you!
